Now this is freaky… Built by the Osaka University Robotics department, the Repliee R-1 is a very life-like robot replica of a real 5-year old girl. Equipped with 50 different sensors and several motors, Repliee’s movement takes robot movement to another level, although not as accurate as real human movement.

It’s scary to think that in the near future robots may be indistinguishable from real humans.
