The 105th edition of the World Series will begin on Wednesday (October 28). It’s an all-East Coast affair as the Philadelphia Phillies, champions of the National League, meet the New York Yankees, champions of the American League. For the first time ever, Major League Baseball‘s championship series is scheduled to end in November.
To reach the Fall Classic, the Phillies beat the Dodgers in the NLCS four games to one, while the Yankees beat the Angels four games to two.
The Yankees get homefield advantage by virtue of the American League’s win in the 2009 All-Star Game.
All games air on FOX, and there is no extra off day in between Games 4 and 5 this time. But for those with no access to television there are still options.
A lot of radio stations will broadcast the 2009 World Series live and it will also be streamed online in your favorite sports streaming websites. But expect poor images and continuous buffering as there is a strong chance that many servers will become overloaded.
Please visit this site starting on Wednesday (http://dailycontributor.com) because we will post the links where you can watch the New York Yankees vs. Philadelphia Phillies live for free.
