Gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender couples can now enjoy the prom they never had during the 3rd annual Capital Queer Prom tonight (March 7th).

This event for LGBT adults will be centered on a moonlit cruise on Potomac, aboard the Spirit of Mount Vernon cruise ship. The night includes great food, music, dancing and a silent auction. Proceeds from the prom will go to One in Ten/Reel Affirmations, the nation’s LGBT film festival.

Tonight, prom guests will also vote for a prom king and queen, who are nominated for their work in the Washington area’s gay community.
