African Cup of Nations: Egypt vs. Mozambique


Defending champions Egypt face Mozambique in a Group C clash at the Ombaka Stadium in Angola tonight, and a victory will take the Pharaohs to the quarter-finals of the African Nations Cup.

By beating Nigeria last time, the Egyptians earned a huge boost in their battle as they aim to win the third ANC title in a row and seventh all together.

On that game, the Pharaohs came from behind to defeat the Super Eagles 3-1, thanks to goals from Emad Meteab, Ahmed Hassan and Mohammed Naguy.

The match kicks-off at 1:30 p.m. ET (19:30 CET).

UPDATE: The Pharaohs advanced to the quarterfinals of the African Cup of Nations, after beating Mozambique 2-0 in a Group C match. Egypt tops the group standings with six points, three more than Nigeria.
