On December 1, 2009, YouTube will once again be pulling off a live streaming of a major concert. This time it’s Alicia Keys.
Last month, the Google-owned video sharing website hosted one of the biggest live streaming events ever held: a U2 gig generating a whopping 10 million streams in more than 16 countries.
Alicia’s sold-out concert, in conjunction with World AIDS Day, will be streamed worldwide on her YouTube channel. Viewers will be encouraged to make a small donation to the singer’s chosen charity, Keep a Child Alive.
The event, which will be held at the Nokia Theatre in New York, kicks off at 8:00 p.m. ET.
