Alleged Dolla shooter identified

The man who allegedly shot and killed Atlanta-based rapper Dolla at the Beverly Center mall has been identified by the police.

The Los Angeles Police Department said Aubrey Louis Berry, 23, of Georgia, had been booked for murder and was being held on one million dollars bail in connection with the death of the 21-year-old MC.

Dolla, whose real name is Roderick Anthony Burton II, was gunned down Monday around 3:10 p.m. at the entrance of the popular shopping center.

Authorities have not disclosed a motive for the killing, but the rapper’s publicist told the Los Angeles Times that Dolla had got into a fight with a passenger during a flight from Atlanta.

Dolla is best known for his hit “Who The F*#k Is That” featuring his label bosses T-Pain and Akon.
