Amanda Bynes, 24, Retires
Actress Amanda Bynes declared in her Twitter account that she is retiring from acting. She is 24 years old.
“Being an actress isn’t as fun as it may seem. If I don’t love something anymore, I stop doing it,” Bynes declared. “I don’t love acting anymore, so I’ve stopped doing it.”
After that she made the following announcement, “I know 24 is a young age to retire but you heard it here first I’ve retired.”
Bynes started out as a child star. She had a show in Nickelodeon entitled The Amanda Show. Her first film was Big Fat Liar in 2002. Her most notable films, however, are She’s the Man in 2006 and Hairspray in 2007.
Her last film then would be Easy A which is scheduled to be released this fall.
She appeared wearing only lingerie on the cover of the February 2010 issue of Maxim magazine. At that time she made this comment about her photo spread inside the magazine, “I think every shot … was sexy”, and that the new look is “who I am.”
