Amanda Bynes tweets about retirement at 24

Shocking news is in store for the fans of the talented Amanda Bynes. She is retiring from acting because it is “not as fun as it seems.”

In her twitter account, she was quoted to have said “I know 24 is a young age to retire but you heard it here first I’ve #retired.” She continues with her post saying, “Being an actress isn’t as fun as it may seem. I don’t love acting anymore so I’ve stopped doing it.”

This big revelation is very surprising since Amanda has enjoyed support and respect from the public, even during her earlier years with Nickelodeon. In her last project, she had played the title character in the movie Sydney White in 2007. She also played a memorable role in the hit movie Hairspray.

Amanda’s career began when she became part of the successful Nickelodeon show All That. After being recognized for her talent in comedy, she went on to have her own show called The Amanda Show. As she grew up, her career shifted from TV series to full length films. Amanda starred as the lead character in films such as What a girl wants and She’s the Man.
