America Votes Out Aaron Kelly
Seventeen year old Aaron Kelly will no longer compete during the top four performance night next week in American Idol as America have decided that it is the end of the road for him.
Kelly, who was hailed from Sonestown, Pennsylvania, sang In Other Words (also popularly known as Fly Me to the Moon) during Tuesday’s performance night featuring the songs of Frank Sinatra.
The other one who filled the bottom two was Michael Lynche.
Performances during the night were from this week’s mentor Harry Connick, Jr. who sang And I Love Her and Lady Gaga who rendered Bad Romance and Alejandro. The top five also performed a medley of Sinatra songs for the opening.
The remaining four contestants will battle it out next week with the theme “songs of the cinema”. Guest mentor will be Oscar and Grammy Award winner Jamie Foxx.
The finals night will be staged on May 25 and the new winner will be crowned on May 26.
