“American Idol” Top 10 Named, Paige Miles Goes Home
The “American Idol” top ten is complete. Paige Miles, whose rendition of “Against All Odds” on Tuesday was voted the worst by all four judges, was sent packing, and with it the chance to join the show’s summer tour. Miles’ performance was so bad that the judges did not bother to hear her perform before deciding to keep their save option for future use.
It was especially heartbreaking for Miles as it means she was one good performance away from being able to join the “Idol” summer tour and get much-needed exposure. Tim Urban survived being in the bottom three for the second-consecutive week, while the often good Katie Stevens was not in her element as she occupied the last Chair of Shame.
The top ten will comeback next week with superstar Usher mentoring them in an R&B soul-themed performance night. Miley Cyrus, who mentored the top 11 this week, sang “When I Look at You” from her upcoming movie “The Last Song,” while off-screen lovebirds Joe Jonas and Demi Lovato performed a duet.
