This perspective window by Adelbert Ames is an object that looks like a rectangular window, but is, in fact, a trapezoid.
As the window rotates, the bar occasionally appears to pass right through the frame while the device seems to reverse its rotation.
This is probably the best optical illusion I have ever seen.
