Amuro Namie gets “Wild” (video)

Amuro Namie Wild

Japan is invading the Philippines again! But this time, it’s a music invasion by a celebrated icon in the Japanese entertainment industry, Amuro Namie.

Amuro Namie was referred to as the “Queen of Japanese Pop Music” at the height of her popularity. In the Philippines at present, Amuro is becoming more and more known as the Japanese singing sensation who’s gone “wild”; wild at the charts and wild at heart. Amuro’s hit single “Wild” has invaded the country through the support of Avex Entertainment Inc., a renowned Japanese record label.

Wild” is a dance/R&B/club driven track which features the music of michico and T. Kura of Giant Swing Productions. Listeners can dance with this song while listening to it. It has a futuristic upbeat groove into it that matches Amuro’s great vocal ability.

Since her musical debut over a decade ago, Amuro Namie seems to have the power of longevity to stay in the entertainment industry as she has remained one of the longest popular female acts in her native country.

Not only that, she is also the only Japanese female artist to have achieved a Top 10 single each year for fourteen consecutive years. She is not just a great singer but a pure performer as well. In her live performances and videos, it’s unmistakable that her years of training in dance always pop out. As what a critic once write about her, “she captures the hearts of her audience by the graceful animation of her stage personality. By virtue of her talents, Namie Amuro has been the most notable Japanese singer to emerge from the Japanese music culture”.

Lyrics: Wild by Amuro Namie

Yume no, yume no kutsu

Work the middle, work the middle, work the middle like I do
Oh boy, look at me, oh boy, look at me
Aise sureba ii, legs, arms, shoulders, knees, fingers, toes, hips and belly
Haruba kara koto naku lets get WILD

Be WILD, be be be WILD
Haato biito shiito etto
Do you know that even the Japanese people dont think hard
Peesu wo tsunagete, sukiima wo umeyou
Batsu wo kowashite, inochi wo umeyou

Work the middle, work the middle, work the middle like I do
Oh boy, look at me, oh boy, look at me
Aise sureba ii, legs, arms, shoulders, knees, fingers, toes, hips and belly
Haruba kara koto naku lets get WILD

Be wild, kirai

Hajirai no culture, yobujou e no torture
In to wa, outto to wa, dokoroka mawazu

Go another round, mada mada mada mada mada
