Berlusconi Cup: AC Milan vs. Juventus

AC Milan will be hoping to make amends for their devastating pre-season when they take on Juventus FC in the Berlusconi Cup later this evening.

This will be the last friendly before a tough season begins for the Rossoneri this Saturday when they face Siena. In the pre-season, Milan have lost to Inter twice, once on the American tour and recently in the TIM Cup.

Milan sold Kaka in the off-season to Real Madrid and didn’t add much. The club also lost Paolo Maldini to retirement and changed coaches with Carlo Ancelotti heading to Chelsea. New coach Leonardo Araujo stressed that Ronaldinho needs to improve his consistency in matches to have a genuine impact.

In a recent interview, Leonardo said: “Realistically, what we really need to change about this team is its attitude. Some champions have been here for 10 years and won it all, so we now have to work on motivation, pride and uniting personal objectives with those of the team.”

Game time is 8:45 p.m. (2:45 p.m. ET) at the Stadio San Siro.
