Beyonce Knowles tells the LA Times she is absolutely interested in playing Wonder Woman on the big screen saying, “A black Wonder Woman would be a powerful thing. It’s time for that, right?”

The 27-year-old wife of rapper Jay-Z told the newspaper she already met with agents from Warner Bros. and DC Comics and expressed her interest in the role Lynda Carter made famous in the 1970s.

All the black people want to take over. I’m not racist but Wonder Woman is white!
But wait… actually a dark skinned Wonder Woman would work with her origin. She was created out of clay by the queen of the Amazons Hippolyta. But not her, please give the part to someone who can act.
