World’s biggest copy of Mona Lisa unveiled

A giant version of Leonardo da Vinci’s Mona Lisa has gone on display at a shopping centre in Wrexham, Wales. It measures 17.5 meters across and is 50 times bigger than the original painting.

Artist Katy Webster was in charge of the community project which took 245 people, using 86 liters of paint and 987 hours to complete.

It is on exhibit at Eagles Meadow, and will be used to raise money for a children’s hospice charity.
