Bill O’Reilly and Joy Behar Continue Word War After ‘The View’ Incident

Joy_beharIf everybody thought that after Joy Behar and Whoopi Goldberg returned to the set of The View after they walked out following a statement by Bill O’Reilly, then everybody got it wrong. Behar and O’Reilly continued their word war in their respective primetime shows.

It started when O’Reilly made the comment that “Muslims killed us in 9/11.” He made the comment saying that being politically correct has prevented people from speaking what really is in their minds regarding the tragic event nine years ago.

Goldberg and Behar walked out of the set after he made that comment and only came back after O’Reilly apologized.

Later, however, Behar and O’Reillycontinued their respective stands at their primetime shows.

“He’s an idiot,” Behar said on The Joy Behar Show. “I was really angry, I thought O’Reilly was saying… something I construe as hate speech, frankly.” She did, however, admitted that she accepted O’Reilly’s comment.

Meanwhile, O’Reilly defended himself. He said that he is not insulting the Muslims but was just tired of being politically correct about the 9/11 attack. “The truth is that if moderate Muslims all over the world would stand with America against radical Islam, the terrorists couldn’t exist. I’m not in the business of sugar-coating harsh realities,” he said in The O’Reilly Factor.
