As of today, Bloom boxes are still very pricey. A commercial-scale box that looks like a big refrigerator costs about $700,000 to $800,000. But Bloom energy expects the price to lower down once they mass produce the device. After all, the company’s goal is “To make clean reliable energy affordable for everyone in the world.”
Big corporations such as Coca-Cola, Bank of America, eBay, Cox Enterprises, FedEx, Walmart, Staples, and Google are already using Bloom Boxes on their respective headquarters.
