Moneyball, Brad Pitt‘s latest contract movie, shut down days before it began shooting in Hollywood. Bummer.
The baseball-inspired movie, budgeted at around $50 million, had its plug pulled out when changes were made to the script ever since it was approved. Now, I can see why they’d want to double back and recheck stuff. Even check twice. But what I don’t get is an actual termination of the venture (read: $50 million) because of a number of script changes.
Since the team has been assembled anyway, it’s frantically waiting for someone to pick them up and resume. I mean, what a waste.
