Brazil’s Ronaldo in talks with PSG

Brazilian forward Ronaldo, has received an offer to join Paris Saint-Germain but has also not ruled out a future partnership with Robinho at Manchester City.

The three-time FIFA World Player of the Year is recovering from a career-threatening knee injury. Ronaldo sustained the injury eight months ago while playing in Serie A for Milan but was released by the Italian club this summer.

“Paris is a city that I love and they have a great project to win the league title,” admitted Ronaldo in an interview with Gazzetta dello Sport.

“However, at (Manchester) City I have Robinho, who is a great friend of mine. For the time being, my only aim is to return to playing and the rest will follow,” he said.

The former Barcelona and Real Madrid star expects that the worst is over and he can now focus on doing what he loves best.

“I am training hard and I am really looking forward to playing again. One thing is clear, if I didn’t have a profound love for football, I would not be here making all these sacrifices,” he added.
