‘Breaking Dawn’ Final Installment Scheduled November 2012
Summit Entertainment has announced that part two of the film adaptation of the final book in The Twilight Saga will be released on November 16, 2012.
The release date means that the final installment of the film franchise will be shown in theaters one whole year after The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part One is released (Nov 18, 2011).
So why wait for a whole year? When the announcement came that Breaking Dawn will be split into to two, speculations run that the second part will be shown summer of 2012. Many now believed that the most probable cause is that the summer of 2012 is already full of highly anticipated movies.
The next hurdle now that the film producers are facing is whether the last film will be shown in 3D format.
“That decision has yet to be made,” said Richie Fay of Summit. “It’s still the source of a discussion.” However, considerations are being factored in about that decision. Such factors include finances and if moviegoers would like the film to be converted to 3D.
