Shaheen Jafargholi wowed Simon Cowell and the rest of the panel with a Michael Jackson hit on Saturday night’s episode of Britain’s Got Talent.

The 12-year-old singer originally attempted to impress the judges with a performance of “Valerie” by Amy Winehouse, but switched to “Who’s Loving You” following encouragement from Simon.

A second tape was queued and Shaheen blew everyone away with his version of the Motown classic.

“This is how one song can change your life. This may be the start of something special for you, young man,” the brutally frank judge said.

“I couldn’t believe my luck when Simon gave me a second chance and asked for another song,” the Daily Star quoted Shaheen as saying. “Luckily, I managed to hold it together and control my nerves. I just told myself that I had to do it, that it was now or never and that there was no room for mistakes.”

I guess Susan Boyle’s got some competition. What do you think of his performance?

Yes he is good but people here already said this segment felt staged and the UK press are now reporting this kid is far from undiscovered. As well as acting in a few TV shows, he actually played a young Michael Jackson on a Thriller musical tour around Europe! Of course, none of this was ever mentioned. Should he even be on? It's not some kid doing this in their bedroom and on stage for the first time at all. The part where Cowell asks for another song does seem to of been part of their plan all along.
