Britney Spears is reportedly willing to ditch her religion and become a Jew to show her commitment to new boyfriend Jason Trawick.

The 27-year-old singer was spotted sporting a Star of David necklace while vacationing in Paris on Tuesday leading to speculation that she might be converting to Judaism.

According to several reports, Britney has even hired a rabbi to help her study the faith.

An insider said: “Britney wants to try the religion Jason was brought up with.”

Raised as a Baptist, the pop princess has tried her hand at different religions. Back in 2003, she turned to Kabbalah. Then three years later, Britney experimented with Hinduism and even visited a temple. She briefly went back to Kabbalah, then seemed to slip back to her Christian roots.

What’s next? Islam? Scientology? Pfff!

    Sounds like a case of spiritual schizophrenia, she must be relapsing. Most of judaism is based upon the talmud instead of the torah. Besides jews are a race who worship themselves religiously. Better for her to drop out of music and lead a quiet life back in Kentwood, Louisiana like her little sister.
