MacBook, Book Pro, MacBook Air, Are you craving for the new Apple line up?

Days ago Apple has released their new line-up of laptops such as the New MacBook, the New Mac Book Pro, and the New Mac Book Air. I quoted descriptions for each MacBook from the apple site below for a quick glance of the specs.
All I can say is that the rumored $800 price is not within our reach.
The next-generation MacBook.
The new MacBook has something for everyone. Less than an inch thin and 4.5 pounds, it fits your backpack (and your mobile lifestyle). It offers great integrated graphics performance for …

My friendfeed real-time (beta) comment – O Hai!

FriendFeed real-time (beta)
My favorite Web 2.0 site friendfeed has launched a new cool feature. The feature is that you can read the feeds in real time. Casey wrote on the friendblog that the move was inspired by a user comment on the question “what you liked about friendfeed?” And one said “procrastination is only a refresh away”, hence the friendfeed real-time gave birth to a bouncing “beta-hood” (just invented the word).
Casey also wrote that the technique they’ve used is called long polling. Long polling according to the ever realiable wikipedia …

Windows 7 is now official

Corporate Vice President of Windows Product Management Mike Nash announced via a blog post that Microsoft’s next version of Windows will retain its moniker “Windows 7”.

Higher resolution images for Google Earth via GeoEye-1

Several weeks after the successful launch, GeoEye-1 started collecting new images of the Earth for customers at a higher resolution. The said customers include companies from oil and gas, insurance, risk management, real estate and mining industries, the internet giant Google as well as local and foreign government and military.
With Geo-Eye, objects as small as 16 inches could still be distinguished. However, Google will only access images at half-meter ground resolution because of licensing restrictions. Google will also not be able to show images of some protected places to the …

A Cheaper MacBook?

According to MacNewsWorld, Apple’s doing something with notebooks. There are a lot of rumors that there’s an $800 MacBook on the way. Would a cheaper notebook open more doors for Apple, or would bargain-minded buyers go for even cheaper PCs?
The $800 price point — a $300 drop from the lowest-end existing MacBook — is still a rumor, born out of some alleged price sheets that Apple may or may not have sent to its retailers. However, the secretive Apple guaranteed something relating to laptops will happen when it sent out …
