Chelsea vs. Copenhagen Live Stream 2nd Leg

Chelsea vs. Copenhagen Live Stream: Premier League heavyweights Chelsea host Danish club FC Copenhagen tonight (March 16) in the second leg of the UEFA Champions League Round of 16 at Stamford Bridge.

The Blues are chasing their final hope of trophy this season and tonight, they head into the match knowing they have the cushion of a comfortable 2-0 lead, thanks to Nicolas Anelka’s brace in the first leg.

Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti had stated he may rest Fernando Torres tonight as he keeps an eye on Sunday’s Premier League clash against Manchester City. The 26-year-old Spain striker has played in five consecutive matches since his record breaking move from Liverpool in January without coming close to scoring.

“Maybe Fernando will have a rest,” Ancelotti said. “I want to rotate my team and with everyone fit I will use all the players to prepare for this game and for Manchester City.”

Copenhagen, meanwhile, will have to improve dramatically if they are to cause the West Londoners any alarm. The Danish Lions have lost on two of their three previous visits to England although the only time they did avoid defeat came at Chelsea with a 1-1 stalemate in Round 2 of the 1998/99 UEFA Cup Winners’ Cup.

The match kicks of at 20:45 CET (19:45 London).

UPDATE: Chelsea advanced to the Champions League quarterfinals despite being held to a goalless draw at home by the Danish Lions. The Blues made it through to the last eight of Europe’s premier club competition for the sixth time in eight years.
