UEFA Champions League: Real Madrid vs. AC Milan

Nine-time champions Real Madrid will be looking for vengeance at the San Siro as they take on AC Milan in the UEFA Champions League.

A couple of weeks ago, Alexandre Pato scored twice as the Italian giants beat Los Blancos 3-2 in a highly anticipated matchup at the Bernabeu.

The defeat put pressure on coach Manuel Pellegrini—which has since increased with a shock lost to lowly Alcorcon in the King’s Cup.

The Rossoneri’s unbeaten run now stretches to six games in all competitions after Leonardo guided his team to a 2-0 victory against Parma last weekend.

Real is still without Cristiano Ronaldo, who has still not recovered from his injury, while Guti and Christoph Metzelder were omitted from Pellegrini’s travelling party.

This fixture will mean an emotional return for Kaka to what was his home ground until last summer.

The match kicks-off at 20:45 CET.

UPDATE: Real Madrid and AC Milan remain on course to qualify for the Champions League knockout stages after a 1-1 draw. Benzema gave Los Blancos the lead when he beat Dida in the 29th minute, but Ronaldinho leveled for Milan with a penalty kick in the 35th.
