Charlie Sheen Arrested in Aspen for Domestic Violence
Two and a Half Men star Charlie Sheen was arrested in a ski resort in Aspen, Colorado Friday. He was put in jail with no directives of bond, meaning he would stay there until his court appearance in Pitkin County, Colorado which is not yet set as of the moment.
Sheen, 44, was charged with domestic violence against his third wife, Brooke Mueller (also known as Brooke Allen). He was booked for two counts of felony: a second-degree assault and a menacing, and one count of misdemeanor for criminal mischief.
The report indicates that he had shoved Mueller after a heated debate. The situation where no bond is allowed was from a Colorado law providing protection order between persons arrested for domestic violence and their victims.
Sheen, who is Carlos Irwin Estevez in real life, is the son of actor Martin Sheen, and brother to actors Emilio Estevez, Ramon Estevez and Renee Estevez. He was previously married to Donna Peele and Denise Richards whom he has two daughters with. His twin sons Bob and Max were born with Mueller just last May.
A warrant was issued for his arrest in 1998 for drug usage and he was sent to rehab.
