Charlie Sheen Enters Rehab; Leaves Show Temporarily
Embattled actor Charlie Sheen will be taking some time-off from his comedy series to enter a rehabilitation center.
“As a preventative measure, Charlie Sheen has entered a rehabilitation facility. He will take some time off from his series Two and Half Men. He has asked that his privacy be honored. No further statements are planned,” his publicist Stan Rosenfield said in a statement.
His wife, Brooke Mueller, was also reported to have entered a rehab for substance abuse in Los Angeles.
Sheen and Mueller hit the news last Christmas, when Mueller called the police claiming that the actor pulled a knife on her then threatened to kill her. The family was on a vacation in Aspen, Colorado at the time of the incident.
Child protection services are currently checking regarding the condition of the couple’s twin boys.
The Platoon and Wall Street star was seen last Sunday, February 21, seeing his dad Martin Sheen, onstage in the Subject Was Roses. He posed backstage for pictures with the family but did not attend the opening night party afterwards.
