China built a blob-like museum in the middle of Gobi desert
Design firm MAD Architects recently completed the Ordos Museum, a 41,227 sqm structure clad in polished metal tiles that looks like a massive undulating blob.
I like the shape of this building. Located in Ordos City, Inner Mongolia, the museum appears to float over the Gobi desert. And as far as I know, there’s nothing like this anywhere in the world.
