China turns Soviet warship into luxury hotel
Here’s something for those who dream of Chinese sea-power.
A luxury hotel built on a former Soviet warship will open at the end of this month, making it the world’s first aircraft carrier hotel.
The Kiev, which is currently anchored in the Chinese port of Tianjin, is now open for tourists, travelers, and those who want to have a good time. The 1,000 feet-long vessel has 148 rooms in total, including two presidential suites, three VIP guest rooms and 137 standard rooms.
