Chopped All-Stars returns Sunday, April 7th
Season Three of Food Network’s Chopped All-Stars premieres in a month, on April 7th at 9pm ET/PT. Sixteen chefs will be going against each other in head-to-head competitions each week in four themed episodes. The grand prize winner will get the title of All-Stars Champion as well as $50 000 for the chosen charity.
Bob Tuschman from Food Network announced that “Chopped All-Stars raises the stakes of our popular franchise by pitting fiercely competitive food stars, and for the first time, celebrities, against each other. These stars use their culinary prowess to battle it out for their charities and bragging rights for winning this all-star competition.”
The 2013 action-packed season will be featuring the following episodes and all-star participants:
Food Network vs. Cooking Channel: Jeff Mauro, Sunny Anderson, Gabriele Corcos, Nadia G.
Mega Chefs: Chuck Hughes, Elizabeth Falkner, Gavin Kaysen, Richard Blais
Chopped Judges: Amanda Freitag, Alex Guarnaschelli, Marc Murphy, Scott Conant
Celebrities: Joey Fatone, Johnny Weir, Judy Gold, Laila Ali
Among the people who will be judging the results of the participants cooking efforts, are Chopped regulars, including but not limited to names like Maneet Chauhan, Marcus Samuelsson and Aarón Sánchez.
The show finale is going to take place on Sunday, May 5th at 9pm ET/PT.
