Chris Brown Flips Out After “GMA” Interview

Chris Brown reportedly had an outburst on Tuesday during his appearance on “Good Morning America” after he was asked about the 2009 beating he gave then-girlfriend Rihanna.

According to an Associated Press source, Brown, who is still on probation for the Rihanna attack, went berserk when he returned to his dressing room and smashed a window with a chair, among other things. Brown was reportedly agitated when “GMA” co-host Robin Roberts asked if he had seen Rihanna since she agreed to lift a restraining order against him. “Not Really. It’s not really a big deal to me now, that situation… I think I’m past that in my life. Today is the album day that’s what I’m focusing on. Everyone go get that album!” a visibly agitated Brown, who was promoting his new album, F.A.M.E., said.

Brown still finished the interview and performed a song. However, he immediately left the studio after the first song instead of performing another number as scheduled, and returned to his dressing room, where he vented his ire. ABC, which produces “GMA,” defended Roberts’ question, saying: “as always, we ask questions that are relevant and newsworthy, and that’s what we did in this interview with Mr. Brown.”
