UK hypnotist Chris Hughes to put thousands of people in a trance via Facebook and Twitter
British hypnotherapist Chris Hughes is going to make an attempt at a world record tonight (January 4) by holding the biggest online hypnosis session.
Chris has signed up more than 6,000 people from 85 countries for the stunt, with Italians, Britons and Americans the most interested. He will use Facebook and Twitter to carry out “Socialtrance“.
At 20:30 GMT, visitors will be directed to another website to begin the session. More information about the event can be found here.
The 34-year-old said those who give in to his hypnosis will not be able to get up from their chairs and leave them unable to open their eyes before being snapped out of the trance. According to him, it requires nothing more than a computer with internet connection, a set of speakers or headphones, a comfortable chair, and a quiet place.
Speaking of the event Chris said: “Those taking part in Socialtrance will find themselves at times having their hands and eyes stuck together and experience relaxation like you never have before.
“At all times during the experience you will be perfectly safe and will be able to leave the hypnosis session at anytime.”
Chris performs hypnosis at a variety of events. His skills enable him to entertain all age groups with a blend of magic, psychology, cold reading and most importantly hypnosis.
