Here’s a Christmas miracle story: On December 24, Christmas Eve, Tracey Hermanstorfer, a young mother from Colorado suffered cardiac arrest while she was in labor and died, along with her baby. The two of them were dead for a while but miraculously, both managed to revive before the eyes of the nearly heartbroken and stunned father.

“Half of my family was lying there right in front of me — there’s no other way to say it — dead,” said Tracey’s husband, Mike Hermanstorfer . “I lost all feeling. Once her heartbeat stopped, I felt like mine did too.”

Dr. Stephenie Martin, the doctor who attended Tracey, said in an interview that “Tracey was dead, no heartbeat, no breathing, she was as gray as her sweatsuit, and no chance of life.”
