NBC has announced that there will be a “Chuck Season 3”. The network’s official announcement about the renewed Chuck series is expected to be on Tuesday, May 19.

Due to poor ratings in the 2nd season, NBC has decided to order only 13 episodes, and has cut the show’s budget. According to reports, 2 staff writers will leave the show and some supporting cast will get reduced time of appearance during the season. It is also believed that a regular cast member will be dropped permanently.

It was a good move by NBC. Chuck Season 2 left me hanging and now I am eager and excited to see Chuck kick some ass this season.

For all the Chuck fans out there: Chuck season 3 begins March 2010.

That really sucks that they are going to be losing one of the main characters, its obviously going to be Morgan. Which makes me angry because he's hilarious. But I am soooooo relieved they are coming back for a 3rd season, hopefully it will get it's ratings up and come back for a 4th.

i dont think that there's going to be a 4th season , becuse they have allready cut down much of the budget -.- i love this show but i realy dont think there's gonna be a 4th season :-( BUT i hope it does :D

So relieved that such a great show will get a third season especially after the finale of season 2. A bit disappointed about such a short season but I'm really grateful it wasn't cancelled.

How could Chuck's season 2 get low ratings!? It was awesome!! But I wonder who's getting dropped.

I bet you anything it's morgan. After all, he is leaving for Hawaii to become a chef. It had better not be Casey or Sara, that would make the serries do a swan dive strait to hell!

Its probs gona be Casey or Morgan. Casey gets his life as a feild operative back and Morgan goes to be a chef in Hawaii it could be either or both. But who knows?
