This November, look forward to yet another movie star resting his acting chops and picking up a guitar. Kevin Costner is releasing a debut album with country-rock band, Modern West.

The 53-year-old star of ‘Field of Dreams‘ told People that his performance at a NASCAR event in July turned a few heads, but he’s been playing music with some of his band mates for nearly 20 years.

‘This just feels right,”said Costner in a statement about his band. Several tracks of ‘Untold Truths‘ will be available to country radio this week. The album will be released November 11, 2008.
