Daniel Craig, Rachel Weisz Get Hitched
Rachel Weisz can now call herself Bond, Mrs. Bond.
Weisz, 41, married “James Bond” star Daniel Craig, 43, last week, a rep for the actress confirmed to website Celebuzz on Saturday. The reported wedding between the two stars, who incidentally play husband and wife in an upcoming film, came just around seven months since they started dating. According to reports, Weisz and Craig tied the knot Wednesday last week in a ceremony attended only by four other people. The only people reportedly present during the covert wedding were Weisz’s 4-year-old son, Craig’s 18-year-old daughter, and two of the couple’s friends.
“Daniel and Rachel insisted on having a small, quiet wedding. They are madly in love and couldn’t wait to be husband and wife – but they wanted minimum fuss,” the News of the World said, citing an unnamed source.
Weisz and Craig began seeing each other while filming the horror film “Dream House,” which is due for release in September. Weisz and Craig were both in long-term relationships before hooking up. Weisz had a nine-year relationship with director Darren Aronofsky, who is the father of the actress’ daughter, while Craig had been engaged to his then-girlfriend of five years, producer Satsuki Mitchell.
