Darin Furukawa: The Samurai Fundraiser (VIDEO)
Japanese-American Darin Furukawa, a volunteer for the Red Cross in L.A., dressed up as a Samurai while collecting donations to support the relief efforts in Japan. It’s been one week since a magnitude 9.0 earthquake hit the East Asian nation and generated a massive tsunami, devastating coastal areas on the northeastern part of the country. Official death toll is more than 6900, and 10,354 still unaccounted for, making it Japan’s worst disaster since the Second World War. Check out the video below.
