The Afro-licious Halle

Talk about a change! The 42-year-old actress, who has been chosen the Sexiest Woman Alive by Esquire magazine, sported the massive afro hairdo while out and about in Canada.

Halle Berry is so pretty that she can get any hairstyle and look gorgeous, but I think she looks prettier with long and straight hair.
Her main man Gabriel Aubry is Canadian and it looks like the family will be spending more time on his territory. Gabriel and Halle have reportedly bought a 1.6 million home on the town of Saint-Hippolyte in the …

The Plot to Kill Obama

Two skinheads, both white supremacists, hoped Obama’s assassination would be the grand finale to one of the worst massacres in US history.

A neo-Nazi plot to assassinate Barack Obama and hurt 102 black people has been discovered by U.S. government agents days before the U.S. presidential election.

Daniel Cowart, 20, and Paul Schlesselman, 18, were arrested in Tennessee on Wednesday and charged with possession of firearms, threats against a presidential candidate running and conspiring to rob a gun store, the Department of Justice said.

Krispy Kreme fails to tickle Hong Kong tastebuds

I love Krispy Kreme. Hot from the fryer and loaded with sugar, the Original Glazed is practically irresistible.
Unfortunately, in Hong Kong, Krispy Kreme fell as quickly as it rose.

Government-run radio station RTHK reported that the chain, brought to Hong Kong by two Australian restaurateurs in 2006, had gone into liquidation with a creditors meeting scheduled for next month.
Krispy Kreme Doughnuts operates a …

The Battle for the West

Who will win the west?
Nevada, Colorado and New Mexico are the three Western States that could be crucial on November 4th.

Can McCain make a comeback?
A Newsweek poll of registered voters showed Obama with 53 percent to McCain’s 40 percent. The survey found Obama leading in every age group and among men as well as women, and even holding a slim …

Repeat performance for the Celtics

Boston Celtics coach Doc Rivers is picking his team to repeat as NBA champions and raise their 18th championship banner.
But the west is loaded. The Lakers should be the favorite, but don’t count out the Spurs, Jazz, Hornets, and Rockets (if Yao and T-Mac stay healthy.)
Not since Shaq and Kobe were together has there been so much chat about the NBA champions repeating. In a league where dynasties were once ordinary, the last six champs have been incapable of holding on to their titles. But if any team has the …
