According to Perez, Clay Aiken is dating Broadway dancer Reed Kelly.
When Aiken and Kelly appeared together at Rosie O’Donnell‘s Building Dreams for Kids gala last month, “it was obvious they were a couple,” a source reports.
The American Idol finalist came out of the closet in September, following the birth of his son with Jaymes Foster.
“Everybody knows Reed as Clay’s guy,” a Broadway insider tells Star magazine. “Clay met him when he was doing Spamalot in early 2008, and that’s one of the reasons he came back to the show again.”

Sony, the Japanese consumer electronics giant, said on Tuesday that it will slash 8,000 jobs or about 4 percent of its employees, scale back investments and pull out of businesses as it aims to cut $1.1 billion in costs out of its ailing electronics operations.
Forecasters anticipate the electronics giant’s income to collapse in 2009 on a surging yen, investment losses, a supply glut of liquid crystal displays and digital cameras, and a slowdown in consumer spending in the economically depressed West.

An F-18 US military jet pilot ejected from his plane moments before it crashed into a residential neighborhood in San Diego, California on Monday, Fox News reported.
The crash happened as the jet was returning to the Miramar field after completing a landing training on a Navy aircraft carrier, the Marine Corps said in a news release. The cause of the crash is under investigation, it said.
Eyewitnesses described hearing loud bangs as the plane came down.

Tribune Co., which owns the Los Angeles Times, KTLA Channel 5 and the Chicago Tribune filed for bankruptcy protection on Monday.
The Chicago based company was taken private by real-estate developer Sam Zell last December in a 8.2-billion-dollar deal. The leveraged buyout largely resulted in the company’s current debt load of about 12 billion dollars.
Tribune is the first major newspaper to proclaim bankruptcy in modern history. The media giant said its businesses will continue to operate throughout the restructuring of its debt obligations.

An appeal claiming Barack Obama is not qualified to become president of the United States because he is not a “natural born citizen” has been declined by the US Supreme Court.
The court did not comment on its order Monday rejecting the call by Leo Donofrio of East Brunswick, N.J., to intervene in the presidential election.
The lawsuit claimed he should be disqualified because, it claimed, he acquired the same British citizenship that his father had when he was born.

Christie Hefner, the daughter of Playboy mogul Hugh Hefner, is stepping down as chairman and CEO of the adult magazine company established by her father more than five decades ago.
Ms. Hefner will remain as CEO until Jan. 31 and stay as a board member until her successor joins the company. In the meantime, six-year director Jerome Kern will be chairman.

One of the alleged plotters of last month’s attack by gunmen on Mumbai was arrested by Pakistani security forces, officials said Monday.
Pakistani troops seized a camp used by the suspected terrorist group and arrested more than five people.
The raid was the first known action by Islamabad in response to the attacks, which have sharply raised tensions between nuclear-armed rivals Pakistan and India and raised concerns in Washington over its campaign against al-Qaeda in the region.
