Woody Harrelson marries longtime girlfriend Laura Louie

Woody Harrelson and his longtime girlfriend Laura Louie tied the knot in an intimate ritual in the island of Maui, US magazine reports.

The couple married on Sunday in front of a small group of family and friends, including Owen Wilson, Willie Nelson and Sean Penn. Alanis Morissette sang at the ceremony.

Gaza death toll rises to 364 on third day

GAZA CITY, Gaza Strip – Israel destroyed symbols of Hamas power on the third day as air strikes continued along the Israeli-Palestinian border.
The air strikes flattened buildings and ministerial offices in Gaza City as well as a structure belonging to the Islamic University, witnesses said.

The three-day death toll rose to 364 on Monday, with some 1,400 reported wounded. The U.N. said at least 62 of the dead were civilians, and medics said eight children under the age of 17 were killed in two separate strikes overnight. Israel launched its campaign, …

Six bodies retrieved in Canada avalanches

Canadian police recovered the bodies on Monday of six of the eight snowmobilers missing since they were hit by a pair of avalanches in western Canada’s backcountry.
“There are six bodies recovered, and we’re still looking for two more,” said RCMP Cpl. Chris Faulkner, who acknowledged it was very unlikely the missing men were still alive.

Bristol Palin gives birth to a healthy baby

Gov. Sarah Palin’s teenage daughter Bristol has given birth to a son, People magazine reports.
Bristol Palin, and her boyfriend Levi Johnston are reportedly parents to a healthy 7 lb., 4 oz., baby boy in Palmer, Alaska. The baby’s name is Tripp Easton Mitchell Johnston, according to Palin’s aunt.
