Dena Riley pleaded guilty Monday in her part in the sexual assault, torture and killing of a woman who was videotaped during brutal sex acts.
Riley’s trial was scheduled to start in April. But she entered a plea agreement with the prosecutor’s office.
According to Fox News, Riley, 42, pleaded guilty to first-degree murder, kidnapping, sodomy and sex abuse in the May 2006 attack on Marsha Spicer, who was suffocated during sex. The murder case already sent her former boyfriend, Richard Davis to prison on a death-sentence conviction.

Filipino boxing sensation Manny Pacquiao is headed for a face-off against British brawler Ricky Hatton in a duel that will most likely happen on May 2 at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas’ Thomas and Mack Center.
Pacquiao, the current WBC lightweight champion, will be aiming for a fifth weight crown against Hatton, who holds the IBO junior welterweight belt.
Both boxers and their managements will finalize the details of the fight before Christmas and Hatton will enter training camp on February 1 after his traditional family cruise.

A jury convicted five Muslim immigrants on Monday of plotting to kill U.S. soldiers at Fort Dix, New Jersey, the Associated Press reported.
Jurors at federal district court in Camden deliberated into a sixth day before declaring the men guilty of conspiracy.
The defendants however were acquitted of attempted murder charges but face life in prison for conspiring to kill military personnel.
The foreign-born Muslim immigrants arose suspicions when a clerk at a New Jersey electronics store saw a videotape of men firing rifles and shouting Islamic battle cries. A 15-month investigation ensued. …

Muntadar al-Zaidi, the infamous Iraqi shoe-thrower will stand trial on December 31, a court official said on Monday.
The TV journalist is charged with “assaulting a foreign head of state visiting Iraq,” said Abdul Satar Birqadr, spokesman for Iraq’s High Judicial Council.
The 28-year-old, hailed as a hero by some in the Arab world, could face a jail term if convicted.

This weekend videos from Warner Music Group began to disappear from YouTube. The reason for this according to LATimes is that the negotiations broke down over licensing fees for Warner’s music videos from sources they say familiar with the discussions but not authorized to speak publicly.
