MMA fighter Justin Levens and his wife Sarah McLean-Levens have been found shot to death in their Southern California home, authorities said.
The 28-year-old Levens competed in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) and other fighting federations.
Their bodies were found Wednesday afternoon in their Laguna Niguel condominium by the woman’s mother, who then called authorities, according to Jim Amormino, a spokesman for the Orange County Sheriff’s Department.

Eddie Murphy as The Riddler?

According to British tabloid The Sun, Eddie Murphy will play Gotham villian The Riddler in the next Batman movie.
Murphy has been signed up by British director Christopher Nolan to reprise the role played by Jim Carrey in 1995’s Batman Forever.
The studio has also reportedly signed up Transformers star Shia LaBeouf, 22, to play Robin. Rachel Weisz is rumored to be taking up the Catwoman role.
I don’t believe these Dark Knight sequel rumors. Christopher Nolan would cast Eddie Murphy and Shia LaBeouf? I don’t think so.
Besides, this England-based newspaper has pretty …

Barack Obama is Time ‘Person of the Year’

Unsurprisingly, Time magazine named U.S. President-elect Barack Obama the 2008 Person of the Year after he became the first African-American to win the White House.
Time’s managing editor Richard Stengel said the magazine picked Obama for his constant presence in news coverage throughout the year, and for being elected president at a “periolous” and “critical” time in American history.
Obama, who will be inaugurated as the 44th U.S. president on Jan. 20, beat U.S. Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson, French President Nicolas Sarkozy, Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin and Beijing Olympics director …

6,000 guests to attend Pacquiao’s birthday bash

PHILIPPINES — To guarantee the safety of about 6,000 guests and avoid a stampede, security measures have been put in place for Manny Pacquiao’s 30th birthday party, a Gen. Santos City police official said.
“I’m worried about a stampede. They prepared packed meals for about 5,000 to 6,000, but I am expecting more than 10,000 at the oval plaza,” Senior Superintendent Robert Po said.
There will be two venues for Pacquiao’s birthday bash — the oval plaza and the activity center of the KCC Mall.
Aside from the food—six roasted cows and 25 …

It was first said that the technical director of the Iraqi football team Adnan Hamad offered $100,000 for the shoes. Hamad said that the journalist’s action expressed an attitude of all Iraqi people to George W. Bush – the man, who ruined Iraq and abused its people.

The 1981 Adam Walsh kidnapping and murder case is now closed.
According to Florida police, Ottis Toole, a deceased drifter long suspected in the abduction and murder of Adam Walsh committed the crime that put missing children on the national agenda.
