Woman fails driver’s test 775 times

Cha Sa-soon, 68, is not about to give up on her hope of one day buying a truck. She has been trying since 2005 to pass the written portion of the test to get a license, but she has so far failed to get the 60 percent required to clear it.

Police seek help in finding Caroline Stitcher

Deerfield police in Illinois are asking for the public’s help in finding a missing teen. Caroline E. Stitcher, 17, lives in Highland Park and is a junior at Deerfield High School. On Friday afternoon, she left the school for her daily run and has not been seen since.

Obama says tax cuts will be felt by April 1

After the US Senate gave the final approval to the economic stimulus plan and President Barack Obama has signed it into law Tuesday. The President said in his weekly radio and Internet address that Americans will start to feel the benefits of the tax cuts by April 1.

‘Slumdog’ kids to attend Oscars

The young actors of “Slumdog Millionaire” will take their first airplane trip after gaining last minute tickets to the Academy Awards. All nine actors who played the younger and middle versions of stars Dev Patel, Freida Pinto and Madhur Mittal will attend the Oscars at the Kodak Theatre on Sunday, Fox Searchlight Pictures confirmed.
