Organizations that recruited interested civilians to potentially serve as bodyguards in Iraq have started to crop up, promising a hefty salary, following the deaths of two Britons that served a similar job in Iraq. Prospectives were aware that they faced the risks of kidnap or even death, but the lure of huge sums of money still manage to lure them in.

Robber cleared of attack on designer, guilty on seven others

In another run through of the world’s “huh?!” moments, a man in London had been found innocent of an alleged assault and robbery charge against fashion designer Nicole Farhi. What makes this kinda weird is that this same man was found guilty of seven other cases of robbery. And if that wasn’t enough, here’s the kicker – his own brother admitted to the charge instead.
