‘Different Strokes’ Cast Remembers Gary Coleman

Gary Coleman will be sorely missed, especially by the cast of the popular American television sitcom “Diff’rent Strokes.”

“I’m at a loss for words upon learning of Gary Coleman’s passing,” said former cast member, pop star Janet Jackson. “I want to remember him as the fun, playful, adorable and affectionate man he was. He has left a lasting legacy. I know he is finally at peace.”

Also sharing his sympathy for the family, friends and fans of the deceased former actor is Todd Bridges, who played opposite Coleman as Arnold Jackson.

“It’s unfortunate,” Bridges said on Friday. “It’s a sad day. It’s sad that I’m the last kid alive from the show.”

Coleman died Friday after suffering an intracranial hemorrhage.

“Diff’rent Strokers” featured a popular cast which added to the series’ success. Some of the actors that appeared on the show, aside from Coleman, included Conrad Bain as Mr. Drummond, Dana Plato as Kimberly Drummond, Janet Jackson as Charlene DuPrey, Le Tari as Ted Ramsey, and Danny Cooksay as Sam McKinney.
