Doctors Say Lindsay Lohan Was Misdiagnosed
Doctors at the UCLA rehab believe that Lindsay Lohan was not taking the drug Adderall to merely get high, but to treat what turned out to be a non-existent Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, TMZ reported.
According to TMZ, doctors in charge of Lohan’s treatment at the UCLA facility believe that the actress was previously misdiagnosed with ADHD, a neurobehavioral developmental disorder that can be controlled by Adderall. UCLA doctors also refuted a diagnosis by the Morningside Recovery, the rehab facility first suggested by Judge Marsha Revel, that Lohan was bipolar.
Sources cited by TMZ said doctors at UCLA want Lohan to limit her stay at the facility to one month, as the 90-day rehabilitation stint ordered by Revel may be unnecessary for the 24-year-old actress. Lohan has been taken off her cocktail of meds at the facility and has not shown any problem, sources said. The “Mean Girls” star is reportedly also doing well with her alcohol treatment, a development that could help Lohan get out of rehab earlier than expected.
