DWTS Season 11 Cast Unveiled
Singers, retired professional athletes, reality stars, icons of TV shows of yore, and a politician’s daughter are among the eccentric mix of people who will be competing for the mirror ball trophy when “Dancing with the Stars” season 11 kicks off on September 20.
Hosts Tom Bergeron and Brooke Burke announced the 12 celebrity contestants for season 11 on Monday during a special edition of “Bachelor Pad.” Leading this season’s cast is Bristol Palin, daughter of former Alaska governor and vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin. Also competing for the title with their professional partners are retired athletes Rick Fox (former NBA player) and Super Bowl XXXIV MVP Kurt Warner.
Reality stars Audrina Patridge of “The Hills” and Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino of Jersey Shore; singers Michael Bolton and Brandy; TV stars Margaret Cho of “Drop Dead Diva” and Disney Channel star Kyle Massey; Jennifer Grey of “Dirty Dancing” fame; Baywatch’s David Hasselhoff; and “The Brady Bunch” matriarch Florence Henderson complete the new “Dancing with the Stars” cast.
