Eminem: No Cussing Allowed at Home
Eminem may be known for the profanity laced lyrics of his songs, but when he is at home, the rapper says that no cuss words come out of his mouth, especially in front of his children.
In an interview with Anderson Cooper on “60 Minutes,” Eminem, whose real name is Marshal Bruce Mathers III, said that profanity has no place at his home. “Profanity around my house? No,” he said. “I’m a parent, I have daughters. I mean, how would I really sound, as a person, walking around my house ‘Bitch, pick this up.’ You know what I mean? I don’t cuss,” he said.
Eminem suggested that he is a different person when he is being a father and when he is rapping. “I’m not saying there’s not glimpses of me in the music, there’s not truth in … things that I say, but this is my music, this is my art,” Eminem said.
