Eminem Snatches 10 Grammy Nominations

EminemEminem continued his hot streak this year, collecting 10 Grammy nominations on Wednesday behind his critically acclaimed and commercially successful album “Recovery.”

Eminem, who admitted to fighting—and winning—his battle against prescription drugs, is nominated for Album of the Year for “Recovery,” as well as Song of the Year and Record of the Year for “Love the Way You Lie,” his hit collaboration with Rihanna.

Coming in with the second-most number of nominations was Bruno Mars, whose “Just the Way You Are” is nominated for Best Male Pop Vocal. Mars, whose otherwise brilliant year has been smudged by a Las Vegas arrest on cocaine possession, is actually involved in two of the five songs fighting for Record of the Year. He is featured in B.O.B’s “Nothin’ On You” while he is credited as co-writer in Cee Lo’s “F*** You.”

The 53rd Grammy Awards will be held on February 13 at the Staples Center with Barbara Streisand scheduled to receive the MusiCares Person of the Year.
