The 61st Emmy Awards nominations were announced today by the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences from the Leonard H. Goldenson Theatre, North Hollywood, California. The Television Academy’s Chairman of the Board & CEO John Shaffner presided, assisted by Chandra Wilson and Jim Parsons.

The list is covering the period of June 1, 2008 through May 31, 2009

The awarding ceremony for the Primetime Emmys will be televised via CBS from the NOKIA Theatre in Los Angels Live on Sunday, September 20 at 8PM (ET/PT).
